Summer is peak ATV season at Lake Tahoe. Long days, dry trails, predictable weather, and the highest demand of the year.
Why summer is prime
- Trails fully open — Rubicon and Carson Valley routes both running
- Longest daylight — 15+ hours, allows for multiple tour timeslots
- Warmest temperatures — 75-85°F at lower elevations, 65-75°F at altitude
- Wildflowers — peaking in late June, lingering through July
- Most consistent weather — afternoon thunderstorms occasional
